3 GREAT EXERCISES FOR SPINAL HEALTH

 

Ladder Exercise– Slowly WALKING through a ladder on the ground with your dog’s nose to the ground

Benefit-  1.Encourages flexion of tarsus(hock), stifle, hip and sacro-iliac joint
2.Requires a correct and organized gait pattern
3. Increase proprioception and body awareness

Ladder can be made from 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch PVC and T connectors from Home Depot

 

Squishy Mat/ Cushions– Walk on camp mats or old couch cushions to improve core strength and balance proprioception

 

Sitting Pretty-  Improve Core Strength and Balance

*** Should only be done in 15 sec intervals for 3 Reps  3 times per week
